Where are you commissioned?

How does online notarization work?

I am commissioned to provide notary services while within Oregon. The State of Oregon requires notarizations to occur within the state. This means that the notary, not the client, must be in the state during the notarization. Therefore, online notary services are available to clients who are located within or outside of the state.

How does online notarization work?

Online notarizations are performed using a state-approved third-party platform. I will provide a secure link to the access the virtual meeting room. The signer(s) any any witness(es) will need reliable internet, a webcam, and a valid identification card or one that expired within the past three years.

How are fees determined?

Which payment methods are accepted?

The Oregon Secretary of State determines maximum notarization fees. Each fee relates to a single notarization (stamp) and a single signer or witness.

I may apply minimal additional fees that are in accordance with state law.

For in-person notarizations, a transportation fee of $0.65/mile will be added based on the zip code 97214.
For remote notarizations, the total fee includes the cost of hosting via the online platform required by the state.

Which payment methods are accepted?

I accept payments from all major credit cards, PayPal, Venmo, or money order. I am willing to consider additional options if those listed are not accessible to you.
